"A Courtyard Full of Fools" Comedy by Winnie Abel

Comedy in 3 acts with a subsequent Easter dance! The gay young farmer Jonathan Dippelmann is in a bind. If he doesn't quickly get a woman to the altar, his family farm will go to his cynical sister. However, Jonathan's eccentric partner Detlef is certainly not what the strict mother Ruth envisions for a daughter-in-law. Therefore, Jonathan hastily enters into a sham marriage with the Polish caregiver of his hard-of-hearing grandfather. But more and more unforeseen incidents get him into trouble. His partner Detlef has to don women's clothes and pretend to be the Polish mother-in-law, the newlyweds get caught with the farmhand in the hay, and then the real mother from Poland suddenly shows up at the door. Will Jonathan still manage to save his sham marriage and the farm? A turbulent comedy of errors filled with situational humor.
