From March 22 to May 31, 2026, the special exhibition "MEERschutz" will be open at the National Park House in Carolinensiel. A colorful assortment of various artists from East Frisia and all over Germany will showcase their interpretations of "MEERschutz." In addition, there will be factual information on topics such as the importance of the oceans, pollution, overfishing, climate change, and noise in the sea. The exhibition is being organized by two volunteers as part of their voluntary ecological year (FöJ). The opening of the special exhibition will take place on March 22, 2026. Alongside a creative activity to take home, some of the artists will be available for discussions or questions about their works. The exhibition will be open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM.
