Told by Herma C. Peters. Countess Anna of East Frisia, born in 1501 and died in 1575, governed the land for 21 years with religious tolerance and foresight. On the occasion of her 520th birthday, a 45-minute scenic presentation will highlight her achievements, including her introduction of compulsory education for boys and girls and her measures against the extravagant lifestyle in Emden.
