Return migration from Baltrum to Neßmersiel - with mudflat guide Johann

From Baltrum to Neßmersiel! Embark on a very special mudflat hike from the island back to the mainland! The morning high tide only allows this "return hike" on certain days – an extraordinary event! Usually, on the day of the return hike, a ship sails to Baltrum twice. Before each departure, mudflat guide Johann is ready on the beach in Neßmersiel to provide informational materials such as an island map, details about the meeting point on Baltrum, and information about the further course of the mudflat hike. Then, the island and its unique beauty can be explored first. On the way back, mudflat guide Johann will safely lead you through the mudflat landscape and show you the impressive diversity of the UNESCO World Heritage site. Over approximately 6 km of hiking trail, you will learn interesting facts about the various creatures and plants in the mudflats and experience the unique landscape.
