In our house tour "Watt in the House," we take you on an interesting journey through the coastal landscape around the Wadden Sea. In a relaxed atmosphere – completely free from wind, rain, or wet feet – you will explore our new exhibition and learn what makes the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wadden Sea so unique. The focus is on the naturalness and diversity of this habitat: Which animals and plants live here, how they adapt to ebb and flow – and how the Wadden Sea is changing in times of climate change. Why is this landscape so dynamic, so resilient, and at the same time so worthy of protection? The tour is aimed at all age groups, is accessible, lasts about 45 minutes, and is perfect for anyone who is curious and eager for more knowledge about the Wadden Sea. Whether it’s sunny or dreary weather: This discovery journey takes place regardless of the weather at the National Park House Wattenhuus.
