Georg Albrecht of East Frisia – Story Theater for Adults and Children Aged 8 and Up A magnificent painting in the Steinhaus Greetsiel depicts Prince Georg Albrecht, who banned the traditional bowling competitions in 1731 due to excessive drinking and swearing. There must be order. While the prince defended decorum and propriety and had himself portrayed in splendor, the story of a young slave next to him in the painting and in East Frisian history is left untold. This biographical-fictional story theater takes this painting as its starting point and tells of power, double standards, and the nameless boy. Admission is free, donations are welcome.
