Last year, Silke Goes (photos) and Renate Langgemach (texts) interviewed, photographed, and recorded the stories of eleven women from Gartow of various ages, both long-time residents and newcomers, to share them in celebration of Gartow's 800th anniversary: We wanted to hear voices about life in a small community, gain perspectives on life in Gartow, and engage in discussions about wishes and criticisms. On Saturday, February 14th at 5 PM, we will read excerpts from the interviews once again, followed by a conversation about life in Gartow. The interviewed women will be present.
