Weekly market with music

Every first Thursday in the summer months from May to September, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, artists from the region provide a cultural event at the cultural stage in the heart of the recreational area of Rhauderfehn on the marketplace. The program is diverse, and there is likely something for every taste. This way, a shopping trip to the weekly market becomes even more delightful and highlights the extensive cultural offerings of summer in Rhauderfehn. Meet nice people for a stroll and shopping in our town center and enjoy the varied cultural offerings in our community. On this event day, Christian Mettin and Charlotte Kockelmann will be our guests. With a guitar in hand, Christian Mettin brings hits, rock, and evergreens to life, sometimes solo, sometimes in exciting combinations with other artists. His program is a mix of sketches, comedy, and well-known hits from the last 40 years. Entertainment filled with wit, charm, and plenty of catchy tunes, along with many familiar songs to sing along to. The young up-and-coming singer Charlotte Kockelmann from Papenburg has grown up with music. She plays piano, guitar, ukulele, but mainly sings. In Rhauderfehn, she performs cover songs from various music styles as well as her own songs, in which she addresses personal themes, accompanying herself on the guitar. Both artists also perform together.
