Vernissage Exhibition "Together in Dialogue"

You are invited to the opening of the exhibition "Together in Dialogue" on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the MehrGenerationenHaus Celle, located at Fritzenwiese 46. The eight-member group "Die Malfreunde" (The Painting Friends) came together during the COVID-19 pandemic to creatively fill the time of limited contact and leisure opportunities and to stay connected with each other. Jutta Stankewitz initiated the group in 2021 and describes: "Our goal was never to create works of art, but to establish a spiritual connection through art, where personal contact was limited. In whatever form that may take. Since then, we have been painting on a variety of themes." The Malfreunde, consisting of Anne Schwabe, Cornelia Rabe, Gesa Prilop, Jutta Stankewitz, Katja Stade, Lutz Fischer, Ralph Stankewitz, and Sabine Uhle, are exhibiting together here with the artist Kerstin Svensson. Through her works in the exhibition, she invites viewers to encounter themselves, to feel, and to discover their own stories. The exhibition will showcase thematic works by the group members, complemented by individual pieces in visual form and sculptures. The opening will take place in a pleasant atmosphere. After the inauguration, where a small snack will be served, there will be an opportunity to explore the exhibition and engage in dialogue with the exhibiting artists or other visitors.
