From Montmartre to the Upper Harz! Grandma's Ashes is coming to Clausthal-Zellerfeld! With the intimacy of the trio, Grandma's Ashes tells of a Parisian everyday life marked by violence and insensitivity. Purified by the raw energy of live rock, the three young women connect with their audience through an explosive show that challenges conventions. In 2021 and 2023, they released an EP and subsequently their debut album, where they combine powerful riffs with a clear voice to express the ambivalent emotions of an intimate odyssey. Their universe, rich in mythological and artistic references, comes to life through narrative images, carefully crafted illustrations, and music videos. The poetry of their lyrics conveys the feminist and environmentally conscious message of a generation plagued by doubts and raises alarms about the rapid erosion of our rights and our environment.
