Bosseln
Bosseln is a traditionally East Frisian sport for which even roads are closed on the mainland. Community, sportsmanship, and ambition come together in Bosseln. The sport is quickly explained: Two teams compete against each other, with the goal of throwing the "Kloot" (never call it a "ball") as far as possible, and in any case further than the opposing thrower. You always keep an eye on your opponent and must throw further than that person.

Family Bosseln invites everyone to become active together and spend time playfully. Whether children, parents, or grandparents – everyone can participate and get to know this cheerful, traditional sport. The focus is on shared experiences, outdoor movement, and lots of fun.

Unfortunately, the event must be canceled in case of ice, snow, or rain. Minimum number of participants: 6; maximum number of participants: 20. Participation fee: free – A big thank you goes to the Bossel groups of the local heritage association.
