Exhibition Karnagel³ – Three Generations

The exhibition made possible by bskunst.de will be opened on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the foyer of the Hotel Centro Celler Tor, Ernst-Amme-Straße 24 in Braunschweig, and will be on display until April 26, 2026. Titled "Karnagel³ – Three Generations," the exhibition in the foyer of the Hotel Centro Celler Tor in Braunschweig brings together three artistic positions from three generations of a family: Helge Karnagel (1939), Jonas Karnagel (1971), and Justus Karnagel (2007). In drawing and painting, the image of humanity is central to all three Braunschweig artists. Connecting motifs and formal parallels emerge alongside clear differences that result from individual life paths, historical influences, and independent artistic stances. The exhibition is intended as an open dialogue about continuity and change, about closeness and distinction within a cross-generational artistic context. The exhibition is open daily from 9 AM to 7 PM. A closing event will take place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
