Culture Gulfhof Freepsum: Ronja Maltzahn

THE WORLD NEEDS EVEN MORE ROBBER GIRLS. The cellist and song poet met her music partner Fede from Argentina seven years ago in Italy. Since then, the two have been following the melodies of life around the globe, gathering inspiration and translating it into songs in various languages. With cello, ukulele, bass, harmonized vocals, ethereal synth sounds, video projections, stories, and poetry, they create a total work of art on stage that invites both reflection and dreaming as well as singing and dancing. Udo Lindenberg awarded them the Panikpreis for German newcomers, and Ronja had the opportunity to perform "Cello" with him on stage. The new album 2025 "FLOW" connects 12 songs with a picture book story illustrated by Ukrainian artist Tetiana SheWolf, under the motto MAKE ART NOT WAR.
