Live behind the dyke - "Shanty Choir Likedeeler" in Hooksiel

Every Thursday starting at 7:00 PM, the hall at the Hooksiel guesthouse transforms into a stage for atmospheric live music. With a diverse selection of musicians and different music genres, the hall creates the perfect atmosphere for a cozy autumn evening.

On Thursday, October 22, 2026, the Shanty Choir Likedeeler will perform. More than twenty voices, an accordion, and the sound of the sea in your ears. The Shanty Choir Likedeeler from Horumersiel takes you on a journey into the world of seafaring with their four-part harmonies. Whether classic shanties, songs from the waterfront, or maritime evergreens – there’s something for everyone here.

The following live acts will perform in the concert series in Hooksiel:

Note: Admission is free. Drinks can be purchased starting at 6:30 PM. The concert series takes place on Tuesdays in the large Kursaal at the Horumersiel guesthouse and on Thursdays in the hall at the Hooksiel guesthouse. For more information and an overview of all musicians, click HERE.
