DRK Film Café: Special Treatment

Cinema with coffee and cake: The DRK Film Café takes place on every third Wednesday of the month. It starts at 3 PM (doors open at 2:15 PM). Admission: €8 per person. This Wednesday, the film "Extrawurst" will be shown, an adaptation of the play of the same name, in which a discussion at the tennis club spirals wildly out of control. In a tennis club somewhere in the German countryside, the summer festival is being planned, and under Heribert's (Hape Kerkeling) strict leadership, the preparations are at the center of attention. When it is suggested to organize a separate grill for Erol (Fahri Yardim), the only Muslim club member, unexpected tensions arise. What begins as a seemingly harmless discussion quickly expands into a debate about societal and personal conflicts. As tempers flare, the club is ultimately on the brink of collapse.
