Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa – diverse, dynamic, and full of contrasts. With over 230 million people, the "African giant" unites over 250 ethnic groups with more than 500 spoken languages. The three largest ethnic groups are Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa, divided into the Muslim-dominated north and the Christian south. Additionally, Nigeria has one of the youngest populations in the world, with only 3% being over 65 years old. Thanks to the oil industry, the country is economically strong, with a booming film and music industry. However, wealth and power are very unevenly distributed. We want to get to know the country and its people together.
