In her narrative "The Caravan and the Resurrection," Ingeborg Bachmann, just a few years after the end of World War II, addressed the great questions of transcendence, redemption, and the meaning of life. Composer Wolfgang Sauseng and librettist Elisabeth Vera Rathenböck impressively bring the prose of the Austrian writer, who would celebrate her 100th birthday in 2026, to the stage together with the Chorus sine nomine and Johannes Hiemetsberger.
