Wine Festival on the Rhine

The Wine Festival on the Rhine at the Cologne Rheinauhafen invites visitors every year to embark on a journey through exquisite wine-growing regions. In a Mediterranean marketplace atmosphere, renowned wineries and merchants present a diverse selection of wines from over ten regions, including Côtes du Rhône, Rheinhessen, Franconia, and the Saar. The offerings are complemented by culinary specialties from star chef Maximilian Lorenz, who provides various variations ranging from classic to unusual Flammkuchen, French fries, Mediterranean sausage and cheese specialties, to Crème Brûlée. The relaxed atmosphere is enhanced by chill music. Since its premiere in 2018, the Wine Festival has been growing in popularity and attracts numerous visitors each year. The event takes place in the Rheinauhafen between Harry-Blum-Platz and Elisabeth-Treskow-Platz. Admission is free.
