On May 14, 2026, the Cologne RheinEnergieSTADION will once again become the center of German women's football when the DFB Cup final for women takes place. In this prestigious final, the two best teams of the season will face off to claim the coveted cup title. The final marks the climax of a competition that will start for the first time in the 2025/2026 season with a new format, including a playoff round before the first main round. Traditionally, a fan and family festival takes place in the stadium forecourts before the kickoff, enhancing the anticipation for the match. The RheinEnergieSTADION, with its modern infrastructure and a capacity of around 50,000 seats, provides the ideal setting for this major sporting event.
