Guided hike Escherberg

The guided hike over the Escherberg in Bad Driburg offers an impressive nature experience in the Teutoburg Forest. The Escherberg stretches three kilometers from north to south and was once part of the historic stagecoach route from Bad Driburg to Brakel. The route leads eastward through the Schwalle and further to the Emder Höhe. Along the way, picturesque views of Alhausen, the Steinberg, and the Iburgberg unfold. The further course of the trail is less demanding and follows the railway line to the Josefsmühle, which invites you to take a break in its cozy beer garden. The return journey to Bad Driburg is then just a stone's throw away. The hike covers a distance of 8 to 10 kilometers and takes about three hours. The tours take place regardless of the weather; sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
