Guided hike following in the footsteps of poets and thinkers

The guided hike "In the Footsteps of Poets and Thinkers" in Bad Driburg offers a unique opportunity to connect literary history with the picturesque landscape of the Teutoburg Forest. The approximately 7-kilometer circular route begins in the Gräflichen Park, where you can already discover the first hints of significant personalities. Passing by the Hölderlin Grove and the Diotima Island, dedicated to Friedrich Hölderlin and his muse, the path leads to the Droste House, which commemorates Annette von Droste-Hülshoff. After passing the wildlife enclosure and the Rosenberg, you reach Alhausen, the birthplace of Friedrich Wilhelm Weber. There, the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Weber Museum provides insights into the life and work of the poet. The hike concludes with a return to Bad Driburg. Sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
