The Nikolaus Market in Hövelhof offers a charming atmosphere against the historic backdrop of the hunting lodge. In over 25 lovingly designed wooden huts, volunteer and charitable organizations present a diverse range of culinary delights, handcrafted decorations, and unique toys. Musical performances by orchestras, bands, and choirs enhance the pre-Christmas ambiance. A special highlight is the traditional visit of St. Nicholas on Saturday afternoon. Additionally, on Sunday, a shopping day invites visitors to enjoy a leisurely stroll.
