The Maypole and Cyclist Festival in Hövelhof traditionally marks the beginning of the cycling season and spring. After the ceremonial raising of the Maypole by local craftsmen at 11:30 AM, the town center transforms into a hub for cycling enthusiasts. Numerous stalls and activities related to bicycles offer a diverse program. At 12:00 PM, a blessing for cyclists takes place. At the same time, the beer garden and cyclist season kicks off with a wide range of offerings for all age groups. A Sunday shopping event from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM invites visitors to enjoy a leisurely shopping experience. This festival highlights the importance of Hövelhof as a bike-friendly community and provides an ideal opportunity to experience the regional cycling paths and the typical hospitality of the area.
