The Bergische 50 is a challenging 50-kilometer hiking experience that takes place annually in April through the diverse Bergisches Land region. The starting and finishing point is the marketplace in Wipperfürth. For those who prefer a shorter distance, the Bergische 25 offers a 25-kilometer route. Both events are known for their excellent organization and comprehensive services along the route. Dogs are welcome on the hikes, but a leash is required. The next Bergische 50 will take place on April 25, 2026, followed by the Bergische 25 on April 26, 2026. Early registration is recommended, as participant numbers are limited.
