The Saddle Festival is an annual bicycle event where a route of approximately 40 kilometers between Hamm and Soest is closed to motor traffic and exclusively opened for cyclists. Along the route, numerous rest stations with culinary offerings and entertainment programs invite participants to take breaks. In Hamm, a bicycle market in the Kurhaus garden complements the program. A special highlight is the mascot Conrad, who brings good cheer. The Saddle Festival is considered the largest bicycle event of its kind in North Rhine-Westphalia.
