Learning to play the Ukulele - Advanced Course

This advanced course is aimed at individuals with basic ukulele skills who wish to deepen their abilities. A prerequisite is the fluent mastery of the basic chords C, F, and G. The ability to play the C major scale is beneficial but not mandatory. The course will cover various strumming and plucking techniques. Additionally, a selection of songs will be worked on to expand the participants' repertoire and encourage independent practice at home. There is the option to submit two song requests in advance, some of which will be addressed in the course. Participants should bring writing materials and drinks. A high-quality soprano, concert, or tenor ukulele tuned to gCEA is recommended. If needed, a right-handed ukulele can be rented for a fee; this should be indicated upon registration. To ensure a stable playing posture, the use of a ukulele strap or footstool is recommended. Short fingernails on the fretting hand will make playing easier.
