Lippstadt Christmas Market

The Lippstadt Christmas Market transforms the town hall square and the area around St. Mary's Church into a festively illuminated winter landscape. Over a period of 27 days, around 40 lovingly decorated wooden stalls present a diverse range of handicrafts, gift ideas, and culinary specialties. A special highlight is the covered real ice rink, which invites visitors to skate both during the day and in the evening under the romantic canopy of lights. The historic old town, with its half-timbered houses, provides a picturesque backdrop. A musical program and the large Advent calendar at the town hall, whose windows are ceremoniously opened each day, complete the pre-Christmas experience.
