The family tour in the Westphalian Salt Worlds offers an interactive exploration of the multifaceted world of salt. Participants will learn how salt was formed over a thousand years ago, the methods used for its extraction, and its significance for the human body. Through vivid examples and hands-on activities, the topic is brought to life. Children have the opportunity to step into the role of salt makers or observe salt crystals under a microscope. This participatory tour invites wonder and allows visitors to experience the history of "white gold" up close.
