On September 13, 2026, the Day of Open Monuments will once again open the doors to numerous historical sites in Cologne. This nationwide event allows visitors to dive deep into the city's history and experience its cultural diversity up close. Under the motto "NETWORKs: Monuments & Infrastructure," monuments will be showcased that illustrate the development and significance of infrastructures in urban spaces. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore places that are usually not accessible and gain insights into the architectural splendor and historical heritage of Cologne.
