Learning to Play the Ukulele - Introductory Workshop

The ukulele, a compact and affordable instrument, allows for an easy entry into the world of making music. This introductory workshop is aimed at those interested in learning various music styles such as blues, pop, country, classical, as well as folk and church songs, without any prior knowledge. The course provides practical instruction on the basics of playing the ukulele, enabling participants to continue practicing independently afterward. By the end of the workshop, they will have mastered several songs. Participants are required to bring writing materials and drinks. It is recommended to have a personal, high-quality soprano, concert, or tenor ukulele tuned to gCEA. Alternatively, there is an option to rent an instrument on-site for a fee; prior registration for this is necessary. To prevent the instrument from slipping, the use of a ukulele strap or a footstool is recommended. Additionally, the fingernails of the fretting hand should be kept short to ensure clean fretting of the strings.
