Pilates is a holistic training concept that strengthens the deep muscles through targeted exercises, thereby optimizing posture. This training counteracts one-sided strains and complements other sports that primarily engage superficial muscle groups. Regular Pilates training relieves the muscles of the neck, shoulders, and upper back, strengthens the abdominal muscles, and promotes the development of the pelvic floor muscles. It can particularly provide noticeable relief for issues in the lumbar spine area. The course is aimed at individuals who want to proactively promote their health and learn back-friendly movement patterns for everyday life and work. Basic knowledge of Pilates is required. The course will be led by an experienced physiotherapist and certified Pilates instructor.
