The water castle Heerse in Bad Driburg-Neuenheerse regularly invites families to guided tours of its natural history exhibition. These tours provide a comprehensive insight into the diverse animal world and cultural artifacts from various eras. The collection includes numerous taxidermied animals from around the world as well as exhibits that illustrate the way of life of past generations. Participation in the tours requires prior registration. The tours are specifically designed to offer both children and adults an educational and entertaining experience. The natural history exhibition of the water castle Heerse is one of the most significant private collections of its kind in Germany and offers a unique opportunity to experience natural and cultural history up close.
