Film café with coffee break: On the road with Jacqueline

Fatah, a humble family man from an Algerian village, has a big dream: to participate in an agricultural fair in Paris with his beloved cow Jacqueline. When he actually receives an invitation, he embarks on an adventurous journey from Algeria to Marseille and finally to the French capital. Along the way, he encounters his brother-in-law Hassan, who is not pleased with the unexpected visit, as he fears it will jeopardize his double life with a French family. Additionally, thoughtless actions lead to misunderstandings with his wife Naïma back home. This heartwarming comedy from 2016 (France, 91 minutes, rated G) will be presented as part of the Film Café at the Kulturscheune Bad Sassendorf.
