The Old Distillery in Hille is expanding its offerings with an exclusive rum tasting that makes the fascinating world of Caribbean rum accessible. This event provides a sensory journey through the history and diversity of rum, from its origins in sugarcane fields to its current significance as a valued spirit. During the tasting, experienced museum guides will present selected rum specialties and share in-depth knowledge about production processes, aging, and the characteristic flavor profiles of different types of rum. The event connects to the historical roots of the distillery, which once produced authentic Jamaican rum and rum blends. This tasting complements the existing portfolio of the Old Distillery, which already includes successful grain and gin tastings. Individual appointments can be arranged for groups of ten or more. Participation is reserved exclusively for adults.
