On a Sunday in July, the Soester Börde transforms into a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. A route of about 40 kilometers between Soest and Hamm is completely closed to motor traffic and exclusively opened for cyclists. Along the route, eleven rest stations with culinary offerings and family-friendly entertainment invite visitors to take a break. Additionally, the bike markets in Soest, Welver, and Hamm offer a varied program. The Saddle Festival is the largest cycling event of its kind in North Rhine-Westphalia.
