The Mountain Monastery Run in Bestwig has established itself as a fixed part of the regional sports calendar. Organized by TuS Velmede-Bestwig in cooperation with the Mountain Monastery Bestwig, this event offers running enthusiasts a variety of distance options. The main races of 10 and 21 kilometers lead through the picturesque landscapes of the Sauerland, past idyllic streams and over ridges with impressive viewpoints. For children and teenagers, shorter distances ranging from 700 to 2100 meters are available. A diverse supporting program, including free massages by aspiring physiotherapists and creative activities for children, rounds off the event. The finish line at the Mountain Monastery Bestwig provides a special atmosphere that makes the run an unforgettable experience.
