The city tour "Jewish Life in Borgholzhausen" offers an in-depth exploration of the history of the former Jewish community in the city. Led by Eva-Maria Eggert, participants will be guided through the historic center, visiting key locations such as the Heimat House, the Jewish quarter with the former synagogue, and the business premises of the Weinberg, Hesse, Meyerson, and Maass families. A particular focus is placed on the living conditions of the Jewish population during the National Socialist era, illustrated by the Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) and the biographies behind them. The tour also addresses the handling of Jewish history from the post-war period to the present day. The accessible tour covers approximately 1 to 1.2 kilometers and lasts about 1.5 hours.
