"Kerzen an!" in Mettingen is establishing itself as a significant autumn weekend in the Tecklenburger Land. The event creates a pre-Advent atmosphere throughout the town center with numerous candles in the shop entrances. Alongside the Sunday shopping event, the Schultenhof presents a creative market featuring a variety of handcrafted products, including knitted goods, winter decorations, and bee honey. The diverse program is complemented by a lantern parade, which is accompanied by music and St. Martin on horseback. This event offers an excellent opportunity to experience cultural aspects and regional products.
