The "Evening of Sports" in Lippstadt is an annual event held in March that honors the outstanding achievements of athletes, teams, and officials. The honorees are presented in a varied show program at the Lippstadt City Theater. The event is organized by the Sports Coordination Office of the City of Lippstadt and the Lippstadt City Sports Association. A sports club takes on the responsibility of organizing two to three program segments as well as catering. Applications for hosting the next "Evening of Sports" are gladly accepted.
