At the Sauerland Visitor Mine Ramsbeck, the workshop "Carrying Ore Until Your Back Breaks" is offered, providing a hands-on insight into historical mining techniques. After a short tour of the museum, where tools and the ore-carrying methods of the miners are presented, participants have the opportunity to build a model of a historical ore carrier made of plywood. Following this, there will be a ride on the mine train underground, where participants can explore the underworld of the Sauerland and the modern mining machines with a mine guide. This workshop offers a comprehensive experience that combines both theoretical knowledge and practical application.
