The comedy "The Abduction of the Sabine Women Goes Wrong" is being performed at Wilhelmshöhe Menden. When theater director Striese learns about the work, he persuades the professor to stage it, but under strict confidentiality regarding his name. The unexpected return of Mrs. Gollwitz leads to a series of turbulent events.
