Without you, that just won't work.

The puppet theater piece "Without You, That Just Won't Work" by the Artisanen, based on the children's book by Smriti Prasadam-Halls and Steve Small, explores the complexity of friendship. The performance tells the story of Bear and Squirrel, who maintain a close bond despite their differences, without using words but with subtle humor. A quarrel leads to separation, but the question remains: Can they be without each other? This performance is aimed at audiences aged 4 and up and lasts about 45 minutes. Directed by Franziska Dittrich, the puppets are created by Mechtild Nienaber, and the music is composed by Mark Badur and Inga Schmidt. The production has been awarded the IKARUS Prize 2024. The performance will take place at the studio stage of the Lippstadt City Theater.
