Homo Empathicus

Rebekka Kricheldorf's play "Homo Empathicus" paints a picture of a utopian society where empathy and equality are at the center. In this world, there are no social differences or gender categories; every person is valued in their uniqueness. The community strives for collective harmony and well-being. However, the emergence of two "savages" from the 21st century, who stand out due to their selfish behavior, calls the apparent idyll into question and reveals the limits of the system. The staging of the play by the theater group "CTK – Cuneus Theaterkultur," under the direction of Linda Keil, promises a profound engagement with the themes of empathy and societal utopia.
