Copper Hammer Concert: Matthias Kirschnereit - Piano Solo

Matthias Kirschnereit, referred to as a "poet at the piano" by the Süddeutsche Zeitung, will perform at the Haus Kupferhammer in Warstein. Born in 1962, the pianist is internationally renowned for his ability to convey the emotional richness and narrative expression of music. He has performed worldwide with prestigious orchestras such as the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, the New City Philharmonic Orchestra Tokyo, and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. As a professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock, he shares his experiences with the next generation. Since 2012, he has been directing the Gezeitenkonzerte in East Frisia. The concert program includes works by C.P.E. Bach, Johannes Brahms, Claude Debussy, and Frédéric Chopin. The Haus Kupferhammer, a baroque estate from the 18th century, provides a fitting setting for this musical event with its historic rooms.
