Summer Concert: Ensemble Classique - Brass Sextet

The renowned brass sextet Ensemble Classique, which has been present on international stages since its impressive debut at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in 1989, will perform at the Old Church of St. Pankratius and Sebastian in Warstein. The artists impress with their homogeneous sound and technical brilliance, which have made them one of the leading brass ensembles in the world. In accordance with the motto of their mentor Leonard Bernstein, "Let's make music as friends," the ensemble displays a special stage presence. The concert program includes works from the 16th century to the present, featuring compositions by Albinoni, Gervaise, Mozart, von Reitzenstein, as well as well-known pieces by Bernstein, Ellington, and Waller. The Old Church, a early Gothic building from the 13th century, provides an impressive backdrop for this musical event with its baroque interior and elevated location above the town.
