Hike over the heights of the Ebbe mountain range from Hagen-Eilpe to Rummenohl

The hike on the Robert-Kolb-Weg of the Sauerländischer Gebirgsverein begins at the monument of Kaiser Friedrich III in the Hagen district of Eilpe. Immediately behind it lies the Lange Riege, one of the oldest workers' quarters in Westphalia. From there, the path leads south above the Volmetal into the wooded Ebbegebirge in the Märkischer Kreis. The route passes through the hamlets of Kuhfeld and Hückingshausen, heading towards Priorei, which features the 1000-year-old Prior lime tree, and finally ends in Rummenohl, once known for its small iron industry and gunpowder production. The distance covered is approximately 14 km with a pure hiking time of around 5 hours and has a moderate level of difficulty.
