Wisdom may have fallen somewhat out of fashion in today's world, but it holds the potential to address current crises with calmness and constructive thinking. The renowned philosopher Otfried Höffe illuminates in his work "The High Art of Wisdom – A Small Philosophy of Life Wisdom" the ability to grasp life in its entirety and to maintain independence and freedom through a sharpened philosophical awareness. This book serves as the foundation for the course "Wisdom is the Goal – and Philosophy is the Path to Get There," which is offered at the VHS Center in Lünen. The course will continue and conclude in the second half of 2026.
