Lange Straße, 31582 Nienburg (Weser)
In Nienburg's old town on Lange Straße stands one of the formerly longest potato tables in the world: about 250 meters long, set with "real porcelain" and fine tablecloths. Starting at 6 PM, local hosts will serve around 700 kg of potatoes and 7,000 herring fillets. Delicious bacon dip and cream sauce are, of course, included. Refreshing drinks and music on several stages along the table complete the spectacle.
