With the mine train on site - Off to the start of the shift

Ring, Ring, Ring! A shrill bell warns when the yellow mine train arrives. Get on board! And now you will travel like the miners from Rammelsberg to their workplace deep in the mountain. The mine guide will introduce you to the daily tasks of the miners in the 1950s and 1960s: After "Anbeißen" (breakfast), drilling and blasting take place, and finally the ore rock is loaded into the transport wagons. You will see the mining machines in action that made the work easier for the miners. However, it remained hard and strenuous work. Through our converted mine cart - the "Rolli-Mobil" - two visitors with limited mobility can participate in the underground tour together with their companions while using wheelchairs.

From April to October: 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:30 PM
On December 24th and December 31st, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Rammelsberg is closed.
