Christmas Market at Dornum Castle

Against the backdrop of the baroque water castle, one of the most atmospheric Christmas markets in East Frisia opens its gates. Around the illuminated castle, you can expect lovingly decorated stalls featuring handicrafts, regional specialties, and hot beverages. In the castle and its outbuildings, artisans showcase their works – from wooden and ceramic objects to fine jewelry and winter decorations. Live music and small performances provide entertainment on the stage in the Christmas village and in the knights' hall. The traditional tombola and a visit from Santa Claus are also part of the experience, completing the stroll around the castle square. When the castle shines in warm light in the evening, the entire setting reveals its most festive side – vibrant, atmospheric, and full of anticipation for the most wonderful time of the year.
